Born in Afghanistan and migrating to the United States in 1982, Homa Mogaddedi built a successful 36-year career in banking, working with major institutions like Wells Fargo, Bank of America, Bank of the West, and Bank One Mortgage. She earned degrees in banking and word processing, graduating with honors.
Passionate about community service, Homa managed Islamic schools in Vallejo and at the Islamic Society of East Bay (ISEB) in Fremont on weekends. Currently, she works with the Afghan Coalition in Fremont, dedicating her experience to help new Afghan refugees and recent arrivals navigate their new lives in America.
An avid traveler who has explored around 70% of her travel goals, Homa enjoys watching documentaries and true-story films, especially those focusing on Islamic history. She loves learning about different cultures and is committed to giving back to her community.
