For over 20 years, the Afghan Coalition has provided a Domestic Violence Prevention program for Afghan and other women experiencing emotional or physical abuse at home or in the community.
Our services include outreach, information dissemination, intake and assessment, case management, and referrals to victim assistance programs. We also offer ongoing support groups for survivors. With the recent influx of Afghan arrivals, we have expanded our efforts to raise awareness about domestic violence and U.S. laws. The Afghan Coalition has developed and published specialized curriculum to support Afghan women and their families facing these challenges.
